Celestron PowerSeeker Accessory Kit – 1.25” Eyepieces, Filters, Cleaning Cloth & Storage Case

Upgrade Your Viewing Experience

The Celestron PowerSeeker Accessory Kit is the ideal starter bundle for expanding the capabilities of your telescope. Designed to enhance lunar and planetary observations, this compact kit includes two additional eyepieces, essential filters, and a cleaning cloth—all neatly organised in a durable, foam-lined carry case. Whether you're a beginner or looking to add versatility to your setup, this kit is a smart and affordable addition.

Included in the Kit:

  • 15mm Kellner Eyepiece (1.25")

  • 9mm Kellner Eyepiece (1.25")

  • #80A Blue Filter (1.25")

  • #25 Red Filter (1.25")

  • Moon Filter (Neutral Density, 1.25")

  • Microfiber Cleaning Cloth

  • Plastic Carry Case with Die-Cut Foam Inserts

Eyepieces

Both eyepieces are compatible with any telescope that accepts 1.25” accessories.

  • The 15mm Kellner eyepiece provides a comfortable medium magnification, ideal for general observing of the Moon, planets, and star fields.

  • The 9mm Kellner eyepiece offers higher magnification for more detailed views of planetary surfaces or lunar features, especially under stable atmospheric conditions.

Fully coated optics help maximise light transmission and enhance image sharpness.

Filters

This kit includes three threaded 1.25” filters to enhance contrast and detail during observations of the Moon and planets:

  • #80A Blue Filter
Increases contrast in Jupiter’s cloud belts and Saturn’s polar regions. It’s also effective for highlighting lunar surface details under brighter phases, though it imparts a noticeable blue tint.

  • #25 Red Filter
Particularly useful for observing Mars, this deep red filter enhances the visibility of polar ice caps and surface shading. Due to its high light-blocking properties, it’s best used with larger aperture telescopes on bright planetary targets like Jupiter.

  • Moon Filter (Neutral Density)
Essential for comfortable lunar viewing, this filter reduces glare without affecting natural colour balance. It helps reveal finer surface details and can also be used to observe Venus by reducing brightness enough to make its phases more visible.

Cleaning Cloth & Carry Case

A microfiber cleaning cloth is included for safely removing fingerprints or smudges from lenses and filters without leaving residue or causing scratches. Always remember to gently blow or brush away dust particles before using the cloth.

The compact plastic carry case is lined with die-cut foam to keep your accessories securely in place and protected from damage. It’s lightweight, portable, and ensures your kit remains organised whether you're observing from your garden or a remote dark-sky location.

Perfect for Beginner Astronomers

The Celestron PowerSeeker Accessory Kit is tailored for entry-level telescope users and is fully compatible with any 1.25” focuser-equipped telescope. It provides a practical upgrade path for those looking to get more from their equipment, with expanded magnification options and improved image clarity—whether you're gazing at the lunar surface, spotting details on Jupiter, or exploring the red tones of Mars.

Order Fulfilment

Some items, as clearly stated on the product page, may be fulfilled directly by our partners or manufacturers. In these cases, your order will be shipped to you straight from the brand’s warehouse. This helps us provide a wider range of specialist equipment and may result in slightly different delivery times.

Returns Policy

If something isn’t right, we’ll always try to help.

  • Unused items in “as new” condition can usually be returned within the statutory cooling-off period
  • Please contact us before sending anything back so we can advise on the safest way
  • For unwanted items, return shipping is your responsibility, and original shipping may be deducted where applicable
  • If a product is faulty or damaged, we’ll arrange repair, replacement or refund in line with your consumer rights — and we’ll cover reasonable return costs

Telescope shipping is expensive, and specialist — avoidable returns really do impact our business, so we always encourage customers to ask questions before buying. We’re here to help you get it right first time.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

All our products are UK stock so come with manufacturers warranty

What happens if I don't like it?

We always want you to be happy with your purchase — so if you’re unsure, please ask us first. We’re always happy to give honest advice before you buy.

If the product arrives and you simply decide it isn’t for you, you can usually return it within the cooling-off period — as long as it’s unused, in perfect condition, and returned with all original packaging and accessories.

Because telescopes and optical equipment are large, delicate and expensive to ship, you’ll need to cover the cost of sending it back, and if we originally subsidised delivery, we may deduct our outbound shipping costs from your refund.

We’re a small specialist business, and unnecessary returns genuinely hurt us — so if you’re unsure at all, please talk to us first. We’d rather help you choose the right item than process a return.

How fast is shipping?

We aim to ship in-stock items as quickly as possible.

  • Most in-stock orders dispatch within 1–2 working days
  • Delivery usually takes 1–3 working days after dispatch (UK mainland)
  • Heavier / oversized items and special orders may take a little longer

You’ll receive tracking details as soon as your order is on its way.

Astronomy equipment often requires specialist packing and trusted couriers — we do this to keep your gear safe, not to slow things down. If you need something urgently, just ask and we’ll do our best.
