Compatibility

Compatible with:

• All 6"–14" Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes (SCTs) produced since 2006

• All EdgeHD optical tubes

• 8" & 36cm Rowe-Ackermann Schmidt Astrographs (RASA)

• RASA 11 V2 (91076) – direct compatibility

• RASA 11 (91075) – requires optional Focuser Retrofit Kit

• 7" Maksutov-Cassegrain

Note:

• Not compatible with 5" SCTs or pre-2006 models

• Off-Axis Guider (#93648) cannot be used with 6” SCTs when the focus motor is installed

Power & Control Options

You can operate the Focus Motor in one of three ways:

1. Through Celestron Mount (via supplied AUX cable)
   Control with NexStar+ or StarSense hand controllers, or via PC.

2. Via USB Port (no Celestron mount required)
   Requires a user-supplied USB A-to-B cable for direct PC connection.

3. External 12V DC Power
   Use an optional 12V DC power supply for stand-alone operation.

Software Compatibility

• Celestron Focuser Utility – free standalone software

• CPWI Telescope Control Software – included with Celestron mounts

• ASCOM Driver Support – enables use with third-party focusing software
