Celestron AstroMaster Accessory Kit – Essential 1.25” Eyepieces, Barlow Lens, Filters & Case

Expand the Capabilities of Your Telescope

The Celestron AstroMaster Accessory Kit provides an easy and cost-effective way to upgrade your telescope setup. Whether you’re new to astronomy or looking to enhance your visual experience, this well-rounded kit includes everything you need to explore the Moon and planets in greater detail. All components are housed in a durable, foam-lined plastic carry case for secure storage and portability.

Included in the Kit:

  • 15mm Kellner Eyepiece (1.25")

  • 6mm Plössl Eyepiece (1.25")

  • 2x Barlow Lens with Integrated T-Threads (1.25")

  • #80A Blue Planetary Filter (1.25")

  • #25 Red Planetary Filter (1.25")

  • Neutral Density Moon Filter (1.25")

  • Microfiber Cleaning Cloth

  • Foam-lined Plastic Storage Case

Eyepieces

The 15mm Kellner eyepiece offers medium magnification, making it suitable for a wide range of objects such as the Moon, planets, and star clusters. The 6mm Plössl eyepiece delivers higher magnification, ideal for viewing fine lunar detail and planetary features when atmospheric conditions are favourable. Both are compatible with any telescope that uses a 1.25" focuser and feature coated optics to improve light transmission and image clarity.

2x Barlow Lens with T-Threads

This versatile 2x Barlow lens instantly doubles the magnification of any 1.25” eyepiece, giving you additional magnification options without the need to purchase more eyepieces.

  • The 15mm eyepiece effectively becomes a 7.5mm, and the 6mm becomes a powerful 3mm.

  • Built-in T-threads allow direct connection of a DSLR camera (T-Ring required), enabling basic astrophotography through your telescope.
This Barlow is a valuable addition for those wanting to experiment with higher magnification and entry-level imaging.

Filters

The kit includes three threaded 1.25” filters that enhance contrast and detail during planetary and lunar observations:

  • #80A Blue Filter – Improves contrast in Jupiter’s cloud belts and Saturn’s polar regions; also effective on the Moon.

  • #25 Red Filter – Enhances detail on Mars and Jupiter by increasing surface contrast; works best with larger aperture telescopes due to reduced light transmission.

  • Moon Filter (Neutral Density) – Reduces lunar brightness for a more comfortable view and enhanced detail, especially useful during full Moon phases. It can also be used to observe Venus’s phases by cutting glare.

Each filter screws easily onto your eyepiece and can be stacked with others as needed.

Microfiber Cleaning Cloth & Carry Case

A reusable microfiber cloth is included to safely remove smudges, fingerprints, and dust from your lenses or filters without scratching or leaving residue. The compact plastic case is lined with custom-cut foam to protect each accessory and keep them neatly organised for transport or storage.

A Valuable Add-on for Any Telescope Owner

The Celestron AstroMaster Accessory Kit is compatible with any telescope that accepts 1.25” eyepieces and is especially well-suited for owners of AstroMaster or PowerSeeker telescopes. It’s the ideal kit for expanding your optical range, increasing contrast for planetary detail, and starting your journey into basic astrophotography—all in one convenient package.

Order Fulfilment

Some items, as clearly stated on the product page, may be fulfilled directly by our partners or manufacturers. In these cases, your order will be shipped to you straight from the brand’s warehouse. This helps us provide a wider range of specialist equipment and may result in slightly different delivery times.

Returns Policy

If something isn’t right, we’ll always try to help.

  • Unused items in “as new” condition can usually be returned within the statutory cooling-off period
  • Please contact us before sending anything back so we can advise on the safest way
  • For unwanted items, return shipping is your responsibility, and original shipping may be deducted where applicable
  • If a product is faulty or damaged, we’ll arrange repair, replacement or refund in line with your consumer rights — and we’ll cover reasonable return costs

Telescope shipping is expensive, and specialist — avoidable returns really do impact our business, so we always encourage customers to ask questions before buying. We’re here to help you get it right first time.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

All our products are UK stock so come with manufacturers warranty

What happens if I don't like it?

We always want you to be happy with your purchase — so if you’re unsure, please ask us first. We’re always happy to give honest advice before you buy.

If the product arrives and you simply decide it isn’t for you, you can usually return it within the cooling-off period — as long as it’s unused, in perfect condition, and returned with all original packaging and accessories.

Because telescopes and optical equipment are large, delicate and expensive to ship, you’ll need to cover the cost of sending it back, and if we originally subsidised delivery, we may deduct our outbound shipping costs from your refund.

We’re a small specialist business, and unnecessary returns genuinely hurt us — so if you’re unsure at all, please talk to us first. We’d rather help you choose the right item than process a return.

How fast is shipping?

We aim to ship in-stock items as quickly as possible.

  • Most in-stock orders dispatch within 1–2 working days
  • Delivery usually takes 1–3 working days after dispatch (UK mainland)
  • Heavier / oversized items and special orders may take a little longer

You’ll receive tracking details as soon as your order is on its way.

Astronomy equipment often requires specialist packing and trusted couriers — we do this to keep your gear safe, not to slow things down. If you need something urgently, just ask and we’ll do our best.
