Introducing the Pulsar Axion 2 LRF XQ35 Pro Thermal Imaging Monocular – the next-generation thermal monocular designed to give you precision, power, and enhanced sensitivity in the field. Compact yet packed with cutting-edge features, the Axion 2 LRF XQ35 Pro is your ultimate tool for long-range detection, making it the perfect choice for hunters, wildlife observers, and outdoor enthusiasts who demand top-tier performance in any condition.

Upgraded Thermal Sensitivity for Superior Detection

At the heart of the Axion 2 LRF XQ35 Pro is the highly sensitive Lynred 384x288, 17µm, <25 mK NETD sensor. Paired with a powerful 35mm f1.0 Germanium objective lens, this advanced sensor delivers remarkable thermal clarity and detection capabilities. Whether you’re scanning in total darkness, through dense fog, or in heavy rain, this monocular detects objects up to 1300 meters away, ensuring you're always aware of your surroundings.

Built-In Precision Laser Rangefinder

The Axion 2 LRF XQ35 Pro takes accuracy to the next level with its built-in laser rangefinder, allowing you to measure distances with incredible precision. This feature provides accurate readings up to 1000 meters with an accuracy of ±1 meter, making it ideal for long-range targeting. With single-step and continuous scanning modes, the integrated rangefinder ensures you can confidently judge distance and improve your targeting efficiency.

Rugged Magnesium Alloy Construction

Crafted with a magnesium alloy housing, the Axion 2 LRF XQ35 Pro is both lightweight and incredibly durable, designed for frequent, hard use in challenging environments. The magnesium body protects the internal components from drops, shocks, and extreme temperatures, while also acting as a heat sink to minimize image noise and ensure consistent, long-term performance during extended observation periods.

IPX7 Waterproof Rating

Built for the outdoors, the IPX7 waterproof rating means the Axion 2 LRF XQ35 Pro performs reliably in heavy rain, high humidity, and even submersion in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. Whether you're hunting in wet environments or dealing with sudden downpours, this monocular won’t let you down.

Fast Aperture 35mm f1.0 Lens

The 35mm f1.0 Germanium lens offers fast aperture performance, providing high infrared transmission in the LWIR range. The result? Crisp, detailed images that stand out, even in the most demanding conditions. You'll experience superior clarity and object distinction, allowing you to spot, identify, and track objects with ease.

Enhanced Image Processing & Customizable Settings

Featuring advanced image processing algorithms, the Axion 2 LRF XQ35 Pro delivers high-quality thermal rendering of both target objects and their surroundings. With three levels of signal amplification, a smoothing filter, and fine adjustments for brightness and contrast, the monocular offers unmatched image clarity for long-range detection under varying weather and temperature conditions.

Extended Battery Life for Continuous Use

Powered by the APS5 rechargeable battery, the Axion 2 LRF XQ35 Pro provides up to 11 hours of operation on a single charge, giving you the confidence to stay in the field for extended periods. The easy-to-swap battery can be replaced in seconds, and recharging is as simple as using the included USB-C cable or charging dock.

Variable Magnification & High-Contrast AMOLED Display

The Axion 2 LRF XQ35 Pro offers variable magnification from 2x to 8x, allowing for flexible zooming based on your specific needs. Whether you need a wide field of view or detailed close-ups, you can adjust the zoom gradually or in steps for the perfect image.

The high-contrast 640x400 AMOLED display ensures vivid and sharp visuals, even in low-light conditions. Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode enhances your targeting accuracy by showing a magnified area while retaining full view of your surroundings.

Versatile 8 Color Palettes

Optimize your thermal viewing experience with a choice of 8 color palettes, designed to suit different observation conditions. Whether you need White Hot, Black Hot, or Red Hot for quick object detection, or Rainbow and Ultramarine for recognition and identification, the Axion 2 LRF XQ35 Pro adapts to any situation. For long night-time observation, Red Monochrome, Sepia, and Violet provide comfort and clarity.

Built-In Video & Still Image Recording

Capture every crucial moment with built-in video and still image recording. With 16GB of internal storage, the Axion 2 LRF XQ35 Pro can store hours of video footage and thousands of photos. Easily transfer your recordings using the USB-C cable, or share them instantly via Wi-Fi using the Stream Vision 2 app.

Stream Vision 2 Connectivity

Stay connected with the Stream Vision 2 app, which allows you to use your smartphone as a second screen, remotely control your monocular’s functions, update firmware, and share images or videos instantly. With dual-band Wi-Fi support (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), you’ll experience faster data transfer and more stable connections for seamless operation.

Order Fulfilment

Some items, as clearly stated on the product page, may be fulfilled directly by our partners or manufacturers. In these cases, your order will be shipped to you straight from the brand’s warehouse. This helps us provide a wider range of specialist equipment and may result in slightly different delivery times.

Returns Policy

If something isn’t right, we’ll always try to help.

  • Unused items in “as new” condition can usually be returned within the statutory cooling-off period
  • Please contact us before sending anything back so we can advise on the safest way
  • For unwanted items, return shipping is your responsibility, and original shipping may be deducted where applicable
  • If a product is faulty or damaged, we’ll arrange repair, replacement or refund in line with your consumer rights — and we’ll cover reasonable return costs

Telescope shipping is expensive, and specialist — avoidable returns really do impact our business, so we always encourage customers to ask questions before buying. We’re here to help you get it right first time.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Does it come with a warranty?

All our products are UK stock so come with manufacturers warranty

What happens if I don't like it?

We always want you to be happy with your purchase — so if you’re unsure, please ask us first. We’re always happy to give honest advice before you buy.

If the product arrives and you simply decide it isn’t for you, you can usually return it within the cooling-off period — as long as it’s unused, in perfect condition, and returned with all original packaging and accessories.

Because telescopes and optical equipment are large, delicate and expensive to ship, you’ll need to cover the cost of sending it back, and if we originally subsidised delivery, we may deduct our outbound shipping costs from your refund.

We’re a small specialist business, and unnecessary returns genuinely hurt us — so if you’re unsure at all, please talk to us first. We’d rather help you choose the right item than process a return.

How fast is shipping?

We aim to ship in-stock items as quickly as possible.

  • Most in-stock orders dispatch within 1–2 working days
  • Delivery usually takes 1–3 working days after dispatch (UK mainland)
  • Heavier / oversized items and special orders may take a little longer

You’ll receive tracking details as soon as your order is on its way.

Astronomy equipment often requires specialist packing and trusted couriers — we do this to keep your gear safe, not to slow things down. If you need something urgently, just ask and we’ll do our best.
