What Is a GoTo Telescope?
A GoTo telescope uses computer-controlled motors to automatically locate and track celestial objects. Once aligned, it can point itself towards thousands of stars, planets, galaxies and nebulae stored in its internal database.
How Does It Work?
After a simple alignment process, the telescope calculates its position in the night sky and moves automatically to selected objects.
Many modern GoTo telescopes can also be controlled using a smartphone or tablet.
