The Smartphone Adapter DX Kit is an ideal introduction to astroimaging and digiscoping. It includes everything you need to take sharp images and video using your smartphone: an adjustable adapter and a Bluetooth shutter release remote for shake-free photography.

Versatile Compatibility

The adapter fits eyepieces from 29mm to 45mm in diameter, making it compatible with most 1.25” telescope eyepieces, spotting scopes, binoculars, monoculars, and microscopes.

It supports a wide range of smartphones, typically even with the case on. For especially large or folio-style cases, removal may be necessary.

Place your phone in the adapter and tighten the clamp to secure it.
Align the phone’s camera with the centre of the eyepiece.
Lock the position using the adjustment knob.

If the product arrives and you simply decide it isn’t for you, you can usually return it within the cooling-off period — as long as it’s unused, in perfect condition, and returned with all original packaging and accessories.

Because telescopes and optical equipment are large, delicate and expensive to ship, you’ll need to cover the cost of sending it back, and if we originally subsidised delivery, we may deduct our outbound shipping costs from your refund.

We’re a small specialist business, and unnecessary returns genuinely hurt us — so if you’re unsure at all, please talk to us first. We’d rather help you choose the right item than process a return.
