Designed for observers who want to experience low-power, wide-field views with 2” optics, this kit provides a wide range of visual accessories—all neatly packaged in a robust metal carry case.

Whether you're observing deep-sky nebulae or fine planetary detail, this kit gives you the tools to customise your views, improve contrast, and explore more.

What’s Included in the Kit:

  • 90° 2” Mirror Diagonal with SCT Thread

  • 2” Diagonal Adapter for Refractors

    • 40mm (50° apparent field of view)

    • 32mm (56° apparent field of view)

    • 26mm (56° apparent field of view)

  • 2” 2x Barlow Lens

    • #12 Deep Yellow

    • #21 Orange

Eyepieces: Wide-Field, Multi-Coated Performance

Each E-Lux eyepiece features a fully multi-coated, three-element optical design for high light transmission and image clarity. These eyepieces are perfect for low-power views of nebulae, star clusters, and galaxies. Use them to frame extended deep-sky objects and appreciate the richness of wide star fields.

  • The 40mm is ideal for the widest field of view.

  • The 32mm and 26mm offer progressively higher magnifications while retaining excellent clarity.

2x Barlow Lens: Multiply Your Magnification Options

Double the power of any 2” eyepiece with the 2x Barlow, included in the kit. Paired with the three E-Lux eyepieces, this gives you a total of six focal length options without needing to buy additional eyepieces.

  • 40mm ➝ 20mm

  • 32mm ➝ 16mm

  • 26mm ➝ 13mm

Use a 2" to 1.25" adapter (sold separately) to extend the Barlow’s utility to your 1.25” eyepiece collection as well.

Colour Filters: Reveal Planetary Features

Enhance contrast and reveal specific planetary details with the included five 2” colour filters, which thread directly onto any compatible eyepiece:

  • #12 Deep Yellow – Improves contrast on the Moon, Mars, Jupiter

  • #21 Orange – Enhances belts on Jupiter and Saturn

  • #25 Red – Highlights Martian polar caps and Mercury’s features

  • #58 Green – Useful for Moon detail and Jupiter’s Great Red Spot

  • #80A Blue – Sharpens cloud bands on Jupiter and Saturn

Durable Carry Case: Protection & Portability

Everything fits neatly inside the metal carry case, with custom-cut foam inserts that protect your equipment during transport and storage. Keep your accessories safe and organised for your next observing session.

Compatibility:

  • Ideal for Schmidt-Cassegrain and refractor telescopes with 2” focusers

  • Newtonian reflectors can use all accessories except the 2” diagonal

Whether you're new to 2” accessories or building a serious setup for wide-field observing and planetary viewing, the Celestron 2” Eyepiece & Filter Kit is a comprehensive solution packed with performance and value.

Order Fulfilment

Some items, as clearly stated on the product page, may be fulfilled directly by our partners or manufacturers. In these cases, your order will be shipped to you straight from the brand’s warehouse. This helps us provide a wider range of specialist equipment and may result in slightly different delivery times.

Returns Policy

If something isn’t right, we’ll always try to help.

  • Unused items in “as new” condition can usually be returned within the statutory cooling-off period
  • Please contact us before sending anything back so we can advise on the safest way
  • For unwanted items, return shipping is your responsibility, and original shipping may be deducted where applicable
  • If a product is faulty or damaged, we’ll arrange repair, replacement or refund in line with your consumer rights — and we’ll cover reasonable return costs

Telescope shipping is expensive, and specialist — avoidable returns really do impact our business, so we always encourage customers to ask questions before buying. We’re here to help you get it right first time.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Does it come with a warranty?

All our products are UK stock so come with manufacturers warranty

What happens if I don't like it?

We always want you to be happy with your purchase — so if you’re unsure, please ask us first. We’re always happy to give honest advice before you buy.

If the product arrives and you simply decide it isn’t for you, you can usually return it within the cooling-off period — as long as it’s unused, in perfect condition, and returned with all original packaging and accessories.

Because telescopes and optical equipment are large, delicate and expensive to ship, you’ll need to cover the cost of sending it back, and if we originally subsidised delivery, we may deduct our outbound shipping costs from your refund.

We’re a small specialist business, and unnecessary returns genuinely hurt us — so if you’re unsure at all, please talk to us first. We’d rather help you choose the right item than process a return.

How fast is shipping?

We aim to ship in-stock items as quickly as possible.

  • Most in-stock orders dispatch within 1–2 working days
  • Delivery usually takes 1–3 working days after dispatch (UK mainland)
  • Heavier / oversized items and special orders may take a little longer

You’ll receive tracking details as soon as your order is on its way.

Astronomy equipment often requires specialist packing and trusted couriers — we do this to keep your gear safe, not to slow things down. If you need something urgently, just ask and we’ll do our best.
